The Club at Mediterra Wedding

If I didn’t spill the beans that Emma + Stephen’s wedding was hosted in December, the design would fool you into believing it was spring. And that’s just one of the many things I loved about this The Club at Mediterra wedding. Mediterra has a unique vibe- although it is a country club, there is a slight European flair to the architecture that we love!

The couple’s stationery set the tone for the entire celebration. The colors, the custom whimsical flower pattern, the paper weights and textures… it was all so stunning! The heart of this design was floral-focused and a breath of fresh air to bring to life during the winter. Truth be told, a winter wedding in Florida is rarely a bad idea!

The abundant, vibrant florals were still center stage from the getting-ready attire for the girls to the final dresses. The mixed styles and patterns in citrus shades of lemon yellow and grapefruit, with pops of pinks and greens, said take me to the garden party!

Baskets of blooms lined the aisle, in punchy spring hues. We loved experimenting with the vessels here- we wanted something sturdy, yet sophisticated. A mix of colorful garden boxes and baskets was a great mix of texture and form!

Presentation is everything, and this might be our all-time favorite beverage station! Colorful champagne flutes atop a mix of square columns presented guests with champagne upon arrival to the ceremony (and water for those who chose not to partake).

Later, during the reception, the couple provided Signature Drinks served at their Martini Bar on left side of Piazza.

His: Extra Dry Beefeaters Martini Up with a Twist

Hers: Hendricks Gimlet Up with a Lime

Theirs: Make Your Own Martini Bar

The sweet ending? Key Lime Pie. The couple didn’t make a big formal announcement, they snuck away, cut their pie, and sealed it with a kiss! During this time, guests were served the same at their tables to wrap up dinner service.

Fun planner’s tip: If you know you want a party, but you don’t want to leave the playlist compeltely up to your band or DJ? Have a DO NOT play list, instead of a set playlist. This allows your entertainment company to read the crowd, but stay true to your preferences as well. It worked GREAT for Emma + Stephen!
