Perry Hotel Naples Grand Opening Celebration

Recently nominated for the Best New Hotel in Southern Living’s Best Of The South Awards, we were honored to plan the Grand Opening Celebration (and the Naples Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting) for The Perry Hotel in Naples, FL.

If I could use one word to describe this event, it would be “Ambiance.” It was abundantly clear to me that this event had to be spectacular, because good hospitality knows good hospitality. It was a high bar to set, but we had a great foundation to start with!

“The Perry Hotel Naples offers 160 rooms with world–class amenities, including distinctive food and beverage venues, ground–level and rooftop pools and a seventh-floor open–air rooftop bar and restaurant with unmatched panoramic seventh story views.
The hotel faces the Cocohatchee River with direct channel access to the Gulf of Mexico and Wiggins State Park and a riverwalk through its nature conservation area to a waterfront pier and eight–slip marina for watersports and excursions. The hotel features a modern industrial design with local touches, a two-story lobby, fitness center, coffee bar, quick-service tapas restaurant, and a celebrity chef dining restaurant & rooftop experience.”

The bulk of this celebration was hosted at the Poolside Bodega, but attendees were able to tour all of the gorgeous spaces throughout The Perry Hotel.

We’re big fans of creating tangible mementos at events, and a grand opening celebration is prime opportunity to stunning stationery and day-of paper. Beyond the beautiful invitation suite, guests were delighted with a custom floral pattern throughout the design, beautiful gift bags and custom signage with The Perry Hotel logo.

After this event, I found myself recommending synchronized swimmers whenever possible. Ha! In all seriousness, though, entertainment encompasses more than a band or DJ. Dancers, specialized servers, aerial artists, performers….the list goes on and on. If you’re interested in something that really stands out, we would love to help you find your perfect fit!

Grand Opening Menu Ideas

Something we don’t talk about online as much as we should is food! Your menu selection can make or break your gathering. People don’t always remember a decent meal, but they remember a great meal (and conversely, a bad one too)! Your event menu can truly elevate your guest experience and tie into personal preferences, cultural significance, sustainability choices, and so much more. You can speak volumes with a bite and beverage! After you feast with your eyes, keep scrolling for a complete list of delectable menu items!

Catering Menu:

Cheese and Charcuterie Displays | DryAged Beef Pot Stickers | Chinese Mustard + Soy Vinegar Spicy Tuna Tartare | Fried Rice + Pickled Lotus Root Mala Spiced Lamb Chops | Mint Salsa Verde + Brown Butter Labneh Beef Lettuce Wrap Duck Wrap Mushrooms Slippery Noodle | Tamarind Black Bean + Hazelnut Supreme Fried Rice | Land +Air + Sea Shaved Snow Pea Salad | Citrus + Hot and Sour Tamarind + Pickled Thai Chili + Mint

Signature Cocktails + Mocktails:

Ideal Harmony Paloma, Ume Spritz and Mandora Negroni

Side note: Mocktails are becoming a new “must” because guests who don’t want to drink still want to feel as though they’re celebrating with you! This not only provides a festive choice for them, but it works great as a late-night libation that caps alcohol intake but doesn’t feel like a buzz kill (no pun intended!).
