Taylor Swift Got Engaged and Now Wedding Planning is Forever Changed.
The Taylor Series. Pt 1
I have a hard time believing that there isn’t a person with a wi-fi connection who missed the news today. Travis Kelce proposed to Taylor Swift in the most beautiful setting and she SAID YES! Now, while I am not a swifty, I know that this wedding will be the most researched, followed and trending wedding on the planet. Likely to last on headlines of Brides, Carats & Cake, Over The Moon, Martha Stewart and Style Me Pretty for the next 1/2 decade. Pinterest will never be the same. Who will Taylor wear? Will it be Oscar de la Renta? Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, Galia Lahav, Elie Saab? Will it be an intimate destination wedding on an island or a castle in Europe? An entire city in Italy? Or will they plan a thoughtful wedding at home? Could they be heading somewhere so obviously perfect (ahem, Naples, Florida) that nobody would even think to look there?
Which of her besties will stand by her side? Abigail, Selena Gomez, Blake Lively? Or will she skip the large wedding party and only have the two of them at the altar?
Can you imagine the flowers? I mean, I can not imagine this wedding being one that didn’t buyout all the flower fields of Holland. If the scene at the proposal start the conversation, what would? Wait. Maybe they’ve secretly been growing a garden in a wooded forest for the last 2 years.
My friends, be prepared because if you’re engaged and planning your wedding now you’re about to be on the receiving end of the most wedding planning content you ever could have imagined. The wedding industry creatives have been preparing for today for years. Me? I am here for it.
While I wouldn’t want to be responsible for this wedding, whomever is planning it - I will be happy to assist.
And to you Miss Swift… Congratulations. Here’s to another great wedding.
