Naples Yacht Club Wedding Weekend

As you may know, we LOVE a wedding weekend here at Kelly McWilliams Celebrations, Weddings and Parties! And it was a treat to bring Leigh & Jon’s multi-venue celebration to life. Although the wedding day was hosted at Naples Yacht Club, we also planned their rehearsal, wedding welcome party and farewell brunch at some of our favorite locations around Naples! Their design was classic coastal elegance!

Rehearsal Dinner: Sails Restaurant

One of the most underrated celebrations during a wedding weekend is the rehearsal dinner. This is the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with those closest to you. The pace of the gathering is much more relaxed and fosters connection and conversation. Savor your meal, hug your people, open the evening to toasts and speeches (without it impacting your time on the dance floor).

Wedding Day: Naples United Church of Christ and Naples Yacht Club

Leigh & Jon’s custom wedding monogram was absolutely one of our favorite parts of the overall design. It was playful, yet feminine and sophisticated. And of course, with the wedding hosted near the water, incorporating gentle wave shapes and nautical touches completed the stationery suite. Their palette of blue, white and gold was a classic worked beautifully ath Naples Yacht Club, as it has so much coastal character built in (especially with all the beautiful warm wood)

Their monogram was also used on their Texas-shaped iced sculpture. This personalization doubled as a statement piece and decor element for their seafood station.

They hosted the sweetest ceremony at the Naples United Church of Christ. As Leigh was escorted down the aisle by her father, you could see a room full of beaming faces. Every guest was genuinely excited for them to embark on their journey as husband and wife!

The woven linen tableclothes added a touch of texture, and paired beautifully with their white, and an oh so subtle touch of blue, centerpieces. Copious candles, tassled menu cards and waterfall white + blue napkins completed the look.

Following the reception, their getaway boat was the sweetest ending to their nautical themed night!

Farewell Wedding Brunch: Naples Yacht Club

As a wedding planner, something we encourage many of our couples to consider is to delay their honeymoon by a few days (or even weeks). This allows you time to “come down” from your wedding day high and host a farewell event to say your thank yous and goodbyes. A lovely breakfast spread, a few cocktails and a casual come anytime between X and Y, and you’ll extend your celebration in the sweetest of ways!
